A converted 40ft timber cruiser.
Built in Tasmania around the early 1950's of Huon Pine.
Her early days were spent as a cray fishing boat and later converted to a motor sailer.
She came to Alkira Boatshed in May 2000 and underwent a major re-build which included extensive re-fastening, a new cabin, interior of Australian Red Cedar and Kauri, and a new 50hp yanmar and new electronics.
The owners did most of the painting and bright work and were found down on the boat at every opportunity.
She is an ideal vessel for a couple who want to explore rivers, estuaries and the Great Barrier Reef. |
